The vision of Artyce Footwear (named after the designer’s mom) officially came to light in 2004. Candra Palmer (Designer, Owner) brought her dream to life by creating a comfortable and stunning custom footwear collection catering to brides and those attending special events.
Artyce creates Luxurious, Comfortable and Unique footwear for women made in the U.S.A. ”The exciting part of our business is that our customers are directly involved in the creative process of producing the shoes of their DREAMS”!
In 2006, Artyce opened their first retail location in Culver City, Ca. In 2009 they relocated to a showroom in Downtown Los Angeles, across from the new Ritz-Carlton Hotel. In 2011, Artyce expanded and opened a location in Houston, Texas. Artyce Footwear has been featured in numerous magazines, publications, and campaigns including Inside Weddings, Brides, Elegant Bride, Wedding Dresses, Smart Money, Essence, Black Enterprise, Franchise Times, JET, Swarovski and many others.
Featured currently and over the last 2 years on WeTv’s #1 Bridal show My Fair Wedding with David Tutera as the top Bridal footwear designer in the country and reaching over 10 million viewers.
In 2011, Candra graduated from the Goldman Sachs10K Small businesses program and the Macy’s Workshop program. As a result, Candra has continued to receive great reward for the consistent dedication to growing her small business.
